JOB TITLE: Director of the Northeast Office
PROGRAM: Northeast Vardaman Office/Family Strengthening
The essential focus of the Northeast Office is to provide services to the rural poor and migrant population in Northeast Mississippi with particular emphasis on taking them from poverty to self-sustainability. The major function of the Director of the Northeast Office will be to assist the Director of Parish Based Ministries in assessing the community needs, establishing priorities to meet those needs developing appropriate programs/direct services.

Adhere to all rules & regulations for food service providers as set forth in the Mississippi State Department of Health guidelines and training certification manual. Planning of menu’s, purchasing of food and/or supplies necessary to prepare the daily menus as approved by the Mississippi State Department of Health.

Job Description: The A/D Counselor agrees to provide the following services assigned by the Program Director of Alcohol and Drugs Services of CATHOLIC CHARITIES
A.Conduct evening group therapy sessions with consumers from the
Born Free/New Beginnings Programs.
B.Conduct a minimum of one hour a week Individual therapy with consumers and will carry a case load as assigned by the Program Director.
C.Participate as a member of the treatment team in providing input to assist consumers in identifying and implementing activities to accomplish individual treatment goals.
D.All documentation required by Catholic Charities, Inc. such documentation shall include, but not be limited to, time sheets, case notes, group notes, and charting regulations. Case notes and group notes are to be submitted weekly.
E.A/D Counselor agrees to maintain confidentiality of all consumer identity, consumers’ records, or confidential information viewed as a result of employment with Catholic Charities, Inc.
F.A/D Counselor must participate in required training of Catholic Charities, Inc. and certifying agents, or show documentation of required training.

Job Description: To be responsible for the coverage of the program after business hours, on weekends and holidays. Responsible for the upkeep and supervising the consumers in maintaining cleanliness of the facility when on duty. Responsible for the overall supervision of the facility while on duty and for contacting the on call treatment team staff when necessary.

Job Description: GSAC is seeking a program assistant to answer the 24-hr crisis line, provide information and emotional support in the hospital and by telephone to victims, family and friends. The individual must assist with community events as well as, general clerical office operation, serve as an escort to healthcare and medical facilities when needed and be expected to network and maintain a cooperative relationship with related professional persons, community agencies and organizations in the eleven county area served by the Sexual Violence Program. Job Description: The Shelter for Battered Families is seeking part-time relief workers who will screen and admit emergencies during weekends, weekdays, and holidays. Duties include maintaining the day to day order of the shelter activities across the weekend including assignment of rooms, general orientation to new admissions, completion of initial paperwork, supervision of meals, maintaining and recording calls, and supervision of chores. Shift varies from Friday-4:30pm to Saturday-4:30pm and Saturday 4:30pm thru Sunday-4:30pm. Some flexibility is needed to work some daytime and holidays as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Relief House Manager of the Guardian Shelter/Oak Towers Supportive Services Program is responsible for the operation of the shelter and assisting clients enrolled in the supportive service program; screening crisis calls, making referrals to other agencies when appropriate, and admitting/discharging clients with instructions of Social Worker and/or Program Director. The Relief House Manager will prepare meals for shelter residents. This position is scheduled to work on weekends and Holidays.

Hope Haven residential program looking for a Therapeutic Assistant to provide direct care services to youth ages 12 to 17. The Therapeutic Assistant will assist in carrying out all activities and tasks with the residents that occur on the shift and relating these activities back to the youths treatment plan and to provide for their well being and safety. This is a part-time relief position. Shifts to be assigned can be any from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or 11pm-7am.
A Bachelor Degree in a Behavioral Science is preferred with specialized training and at least one year of experience working with emotionally disturbed adolescents and their families, preferably in a residential setting. Highly qualified applicants who have not finished college but who have extensive experience will be considered.
