JOB TITLE:Administrative Assistant
PROGRAM:Human Resource Department
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Assist Human Resource Director in the administration of the internal day to day operations of the Human Resource department. Incorporate efficient methods of filing, database input and other general clerical duties.
1.Maintain Dataplex/Storage including assigning box numbers and maintaining detailed records of information stored.
2.Maintain a master list of ID badges and distribute ID badges to all new hires.
3.Update parking/parking decal information as appropriate.
4.Maintain company contact list as appropriate.
5.Address building concerns, such as building repairs and building maintenance with building management making sure to follow through until resolved and provide feedback.
6.Perform annual driving background checks for employees, interns and volunteers who drive consumers in either an agency or personal vehicles.
7.Maintain fingerprint checks for employees, interns and volunteers while maintaining log as to when they were mailed and when they returned.
8.Cover front desk when receptionist(s) is out.
9.Order supplies as requested for HR and front desk receptionist(s).
10.Maintenance of relief tracking and filing of relief tracking for payroll.
11.Collect, compile and enter payroll data using MIP software in order to serve as a substitute payroll clerk.
12.Scan and file payables.
13.Maintain confidentiality of all human resource information records and compile reports.
14.Maintain and upkeep all files/filing for Human Resource department.
15.Conduct employee orientations for all new hires and maintain employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions.
16.Maintain compliance with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations to include POC, I – 9, CA/N, sex offenders registry.
17.Interpret and explain personnel policies, benefits and procedures to include claims resolution, change reporting, reviewing invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
18.Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
19.Collect, maintain, file all personnel records from other departments or employees to assure compliance. Making sure to follow up on missing or incomplete information.
20.Receive, open and route Human Resources mail; send receive faxes; type letters, memorandums, forms and other miscellaneous correspondence as assigned.
21.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Job Description: Peer Support Specialist position is vacant. Applicant will perform a wide range of duties as needed to assist individuals receiving services in regaining independence within the community and mastery over their individualized recovery and treatment process. Some responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, serving as role models, helping individuals with skill building, goal setting, problem solving and finding resources.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Experience working with children, young adults and knowledge of alcohol and drug treatment preferred. Good communication skills are necessary and able to work evening hours.
Required License/Certification: Upon hire, individual must successfully past the Certified Peer Support Specialist exam after completion of training. Applicant must have good driving record and valid driver’s license.

THERAPEUTIC ASSISTANT: Hope Haven residential crisis program looking for a Therapeutic Assistant to provide direct care services to youth ages 12 to 18. Title: Crisis Intervention Specialist
Program: Hope Haven Home Based
Job Description—This position is full-time. It provides family friendly mental health services for identified youth and their families. Duties include treatment planning, discharge planning, individual, family therapy and related documentation. You are required to participate in an on-call rotation serving clients who contact our 24/7 crisis line. Emphasis on empowerment and partnerships of families with support from the community is also our focus. Work schedule is flexible and will include afternoons, early evenings and some weekends, but will change according to the school year. Provide intensive home-based crisis intervention and case management services to families of children and youth with serious emotional disorders who are served by Hope Haven Adolescent Crisis Center. Use specified treatment modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy TF-CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy when appropriate; as well as other types of treatments such as wraparound principals, that will assist youth and family in reaching their treatment objectives. Administer the Child and Adolescent functional Assessment Scale (CAFAS) and North Shore Checklist, as well as be trained in Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress. (SPARCS); provide wraparound services and assist case manager with the information needed to complete the wraparound meetings on youth during service delivery Crisis intake, intervention and follow-up with families and youth who have been referred through the mobile crisis response system.
Work closely with families’ informal supports and other service providers regarding family strengths, needs and goals. May be responsible for developing the individualized service team for the family or serve on those developed by other programs. Complete all required paperwork and keep files current as per accreditation and certification standards. Participate in all scheduled in service trainings, weekly supervision with Home Based Director, scheduled monthly staff meetings and weekly review of records. Job Description: The primary function is to recruit, conduct SAFE home studies on prospective adoptive families, post-placement supervision, home visits, and reports on children in adoptive placements. Job Description: The Shelter for Battered Families is seeking part-time relief workers who will screen and admit emergencies during weekends, weekdays, and holidays. Duties include maintaining the day to day order of the shelter activities across the weekend including assignment of rooms, general orientation to new admissions, completion of initial paperwork, supervision of meals, maintaining and recording calls, and supervision of chores. Shift varies from Friday-4:30pm to Saturday-4:30pm and Saturday 4:30pm thru Sunday-4:30pm. Some flexibility is needed to work some daytime and holidays as needed.
