Program: Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)
Employment Status: Full-Time
Locations: Greenwood, MS; Natchez, MS; and Vardaman, MS
Job Description: The Supportive Services for Veteran Families program is in need of
case managers to work closely with homeless and formerly homeless Veterans and
their families. Case manager will identify and engage with current and previously
homeless families to assist them in obtaining and retaining permanent affordable
housing. This will require establishing effective case management relationships with
formerly homeless veterans and homeless veteran families, building relationships with
property managers and other social service providers in coordination with the SSVF
Program Coordinator.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field plus a
minimum of two years’ case management experience. Must have excellent verbal and
written communications skills in working with Veterans who are experiencing difficulty
maintaining housing as well as seeking housing.
