On the evening of August 23rd 2022, central Mississippi began a period of flooding that has continued until the present day, August 29th. Thousands have had to deal with the sudden displacement from their homes. Some of these same families have recently finished recovering from the floods in 2020.
With the recent flooding in the state of Mississippi comes the need for assistance. If you or someone you know has been affected by the recent floods that occurred in the Central MS area (Hinds, Madison, and Rankin Counties) as a result of the river cresting, please contact 601-960-8490 for assistance. Donations are always welcome and monetary donations can be submitted by clicking here. For in-kind donations, contact Michael Thomas at michael.thomas@ccjackson.org or Rachel Travis at rachel.travis@ccjackson.org
