Catholic Charities, Inc. – Diocese of Jackson has several opportunities to connect the community to the work we do each and every day to strengthen the lives of families in Mississippi. We know that as responsible corporate citizens in Mississippi, aligning with Catholic Charities can help you meet your corporate social responsibility goals through giving campaigns, sponsorships, and volunteer opportunities.
Catholic Charites desires partners who want to help us in our mission ‘to be a visible sign of Christ’s love by helping those who are unable to help themselves; the poor and vulnerable, especially children, women, and families.’
Our staff provides direct services in a professionally skilled manner to address the needs of all people in all socioeconomic groups. But, we have a special concern for the neediest and most vulnerable to serve as their advocate where it is necessary and to help them develop the capacity to become independent and self-sufficient. We do this through several multidimensional programs administered by professionally licensed and dedicated staff.
Catholic Charities provides education, increased public awareness, and cooperative efforts within the larger community. We believe that our principles, mission, and values provide a solid guide for our decision making, words, and actions. We believe that this allows us to remain true to the Works of Mercy so we can carry forth charitable actions to aid our neighbors.
Almost 90% of the people we serve throughout Mississippi are low-income and are of other faiths and denominations.
We need corporate partners to continue to innovate and support the work we do in Mississippi. By joining us as a partner, you will know that the power of a Catholic Charities partnership will drive and scale approaches to create a better way of life for the clients we serve. Together we are better, together we can make a difference!
